COVID-19 Safety Measures
Please take a few minutes to complete our COVID -19 Questionnaire before your child comes to class. Simply click on the button above. Outlined below are the safety measures that we have adopted to help keep our athletes, their families and our staff healthy and safe.
if sick, stay home
If you or your child are sick and/or have a fever, cough, cold or similar symptoms, please refrain from coming to the gym. If your child displays symptoms of illness, we will require that they leave the gym, and if possible schedule a make-up. We recognize that missing a class can be inconvenient; however, it is imperative for the health and safety of all S! families and employees that children are healthy when coming to class. We will be as liberal with our class make ups as possible during this time.
Open communication
Inform the gym should anyone in your family test positive for the virus, so that we can evaluate the risk of exposure and decide a suitable course of action.
MASK POLICY
Parents, students, and staff who are fully vaccinated will no longer be required to wear masks while in the gym.
We ask that all parents and staff who are not fully-vaccinated continue to wear a mask while in the gym, and students wear a mask until they take the floor during class.
Any parent, student, or staff member may choose to wear a mask at their discretion.
All staff members are encouraged to be vaccinated, but we will not disclose any coach's personal health information to any parent or other staff member.
TEMP CHECKS
We check the body temperature of all athletes upon arrival. If the temperature of the athlete is 100.4 or greater, the athlete will not be able to participate in class and will immediately be sent home. The athlete will be dismissed from classes for 14 days and until they are fever free. Make-up tokens will be issued to the athlete’s account for any missed classes during their time away.
social distance
Be sure to practice social distancing while at the gym. Our staff will spread out classes, mats and stations by 6ft to practice social distancing. We also have reduced class sizes.
Drop-off
Parents may watch their child’s class from the lobby. We ask that athletes do not enter the building any earlier than 5 minutes before their class starts.
Sanitation
In addition to our routine maid service, S! staff will be working to maintain sanitation by wiping down surfaces and mats with a hospital grade disinfectant before and after every class. All S! Staff wear a mask while coaching. Sick staff are required to stay at home, and those coaching classes wash hands before and after every class. To further our preventative efforts, we have hired DIS.IN.FX, a company that specializes in sanitation, to routinely disinfect our facility using an antimicrobial treatment. The treatment reduces cross contamination by offering long lasting surface protection from microbes.
